I offer a complimentary 20-minute telephone consultation as an initial step. This session enables you to determine whether I am a suitable counsellor for your needs. Establishing a professional relationship is important, and as we build trust, we can address the challenges and difficulties you are facing.

In my practice, I have worked with clients of various ages and backgrounds, each facing unique challenges. Their experiences are distinct to their situations. I have been involved in their journeys, focusing on their well-being. As their self-awareness increased during our work, they developed the ability to make informed decisions and progress.

WHY USE ME
As your Counsellor, I support and listen to you, helping you make decisions that suit your needs. I don't give direct advice.

You know your life best. I'll help you understand yourself and your relationships better, boosting your confidence in decision-making. Taking the first step to seek help can feel daunting.

Whether it's your first time or a return visit, it's important to find a counsellor you feel comfortable with—a safe space for effective work.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Counselling designed for carers provides essential support, enabling them to focus on their own well-being and explore their emotions and options. For individuals in caregiving roles, counselling can help manage the emotional impact of their duties and find strategies to cope with stress and responsibilities.
From an observational standpoint, carers may benefit from shared experiences and strategies to address similar challenges.

COUNSELLING FOR CARERS
I'm so glad that I found Alison. She has provided me with a compassionate, kind and non-judgemental listening ear at a time when I needed it the most. I never thought I'd be in the position to need to speak to a counsellor and was very nervous about what it would be like, but she made it as easy as possible and helped me to navigate the challenges I was dealing with. As a result, I now have the tools and the self-belief I need to be able to face whatever comes my way. I cannot thank Alison enough and would recommend her to anyone who feels like they are struggling and might be hesitating to get some extra help.
